Return of ‘Three-Fifths’ of a Person

Sometimes I feel like I owe you an apology Jimmy for being jaded with regards to your political viewpoint. However this article is an absolute must read and I thank you for sending it.
I never fully understood the need for the electoral college and always thought that it was typical of America to complicate what should be a simple process.
The last four elections have all been marred by some form of manipulation, either by voter supression or court ruling.
This attempt to change the electoral process might not be without major challenges from the courts up to the Supreme court. Probably the system of appointing judges might have to be reexamined as well because more often than not those nominations have a political slant to it.
Maybe it should just be a case of the popular vote. Period.
